Automatic tee-extraction machine for pipes with diameters from 60 to 400 mm, thicknesses from 0.3 to 1 mm and maximum lengths up to 800 mm.
Hydraulic tee pulling press
Automatic tee pulling machine for pipes with diameters from 60 to 400 mm, thickness from 0.3 to 1 mm and maximum length up to 800 mm. In the standard version, the machine is operated manually. On request, it can be equipped with an automatic loading and unloading system. Materials handled include copper, stainless steel and galvanized steel. Workpieces machined on the NOVA-MTE machine are laser welded on the NOVA-MSL machine after application.
The machine performs automatic extrusion of the neck of the tee.
The body to be extruded must present a cut of a special shape derived from a DXF drawing.
The cutting of the elliptical shape can be done by plasma or laser technology; in either case, the cutting surface must be very clean and free of irregularities to avoid possible critical material breakage.
The machine is capable of extrusion:
- nominal diameter: the diameter of the extruded neck is the same as the nominal diameter of the body tube.
- reduced diameter: the diameter of the extruded neck is smaller than the nominal diameter of the pipe body.
- special profile like “inspection” and “vapor control”.
Extrusion of different diameters and profiles is carried out with mechanical dedicated dies.

One complete tool set is required for each nominal diameter of production | One reduction set is required for each reduced diameter | One complete set of tooling is required for each nominal diameter |
Tooling is built using high quality steel. In particular, the extractors are repeatedly heated, and in the last stage they are coated with a multilayer surface to guarantee a long service life.
