Hydraulic die presses – Die test press

The die test press, or “spot press,” is one of the machines needed by toolmakers. Particularly in the case of automotive dies, after the machining process, the molds must be lapped by manual work on the molds to get the final part with the mold. These test processes are done with test presses. These presses are not production presses, but are only used for mold and sample lapping processes. Since die test presses are the reference machine for the mold being lapped, they should be much more dimensionally precise than production presses. The capacity and work table that can provide this sensitivity are available from our company.
Hursan presses have special features like the accuracy and rigidity of the working table and the structure of the guideways, the upper table locking system and potentiometer control such as CNC processing.
These presses can be produced as single-action, double-action and triple-action presses according to customer requirements.
Die test presses have a capacity of 200 to 2,000 tons and can be produced with a table size of 1200×1000 mm to 5000×2500 mm. Special production is also available in addition to these dimensions if required.
